On Tuesday 16th January, our Year 7's had an assembly on First Aid where an external visitor came to deliver a small but beneficial presentation. 

The Academy will close for the Christmas break on Friday 21st December 2018 and will re-open at the normal time of 8:30 am on Monday 7th January 2019.

We are very proud to announce that Miss Simmonds has been awarded the Association of Jamaican Nationals Local Hero Norman Manley Award, for her services to Education and the Community in Jamaica since 1994.

Joseph Leckie Academy has been published as the top non-grammar school in Walsall for results at the end of Key Stage 4 for the end of the 2017-2018 Academic year.
