Here at Joseph Leckie Academy we have a strong vision and clear aims for everyone. We aim to provide a learning environment where everyone feels safe and enjoys coming to school every day. We strive to maximise achievement and remove any barriers to learning and we work in partnership, as one team, to equip all of our students to be confident and effective young people and lifelong learners.

Our Open Evening will take place on the 29th of September between 5.00pm and 8.00pm. This will be a fantastic opportunity to find out everything you need to know about our Academy. There will be interactive tours around each department, opportunities to sample ‘school dinners’ and a presentation from the Principal. Slots are available to book from 5.00pm and every 30 mins until 7.30pm. Please follow the link below for our online booking.

In addition to the Open Evening, we are also opening the school for two Open Mornings. Friday 30th September and Monday 3rd October. These will be an opportunity to see the ‘Academy in Action’. There will be a short presentation by one of our Senior Leaders, as well as a short tour in which you will be able to see what a day in the life of a Joseph Leckie student looks like, this will include visits to classrooms in which teaching is taking place.
