Contract/Hours 3 days per week (0.6) minimum. Permanent Contract
Reports to Head of Faculty
Accountable to Associate Principal

Are you able to accelerate scientific learning environments and make Newton’s Law of Motion seem as simple as A, B, C? Joseph Leckie Academy are seeking a force to be reckoned with, to join our team as a Physics and Science Teacher who will radiate dedication and enthusiasm for their subject area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
- Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals.
- The successful candidate must hold QTS or equivalent and an honours degree in Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
