Catering Manager
Grade 7, SCP 22-27 Actual salary: £28,740 - £32,754 (pay award pending)
Contract/Hours 37 hours per week, permanent contract, term time plus 2 weeks
Reports to ACADEMY BUSINESS MANAGER

Are you passionate about food and for an opportunity to make a real impact in an educational setting? Joseph Leckie Academy is seeking a dedicated and proactive Catering Manager to join our team.
You will lead an established kitchen unit to provide our Academy students with a varied and nutritious range of food. Manage suppliers and budgets as per Academy structure to ensure best practice and value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the Catering Service function within the Academy.
- Food preparation, maintenance and distribution.
- Health & Safety and Compliance with all food safety requirements and regulations.
- Budgets and Reporting organisation and administration
- Line Management of Catering team
- Proficient in ICT
- Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals.
The successful candidate must be qualified to a minimum of GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or Level 4/5 and have a proven experience in a site management administration role.
