A-Level Results 2017

Congratulations to all of our wonderful Year 13 students on their excellent examination results. We are very proud of your achievements and wish you the very best of luck for your future. With a hundred percent pass rate in 22 subjects and an overall pass rate of 95%, staff at Joseph Leckie Academy are very proud of your achievements  (especially as 42% of grades were the top grades of A*-B).
Students achieving two or more qualifications at level three topped 99%, with 90% of students gaining three or more qualifications.

Well done and congratulations to students and staff, who worked so hard this year to secure success for our students.


Well done to Arsalan Hashmi who in securing  A* A* A in mathematics, biology and chemistry, will follow Medicine at the prestigious Russell Group university, University of Birmingham along with Mohammed Musharaf who achieved an A* A  B, with A grade mathematics, to study Mechanical Engineering at the same university.

Other notable successes.

Maariyah Fulat achieved A* Art, A in English literature and a B in product design and will attend her first choice university to study Digital Art and Graphic Design.

Saadia Ahmed achieved a perfect score of 3 Distinction * grades, offering the maximum score of 168 UCAS points.  The same is true of the following students: Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Arum, Callum Jarvis and Rohima Uddin. 

Fahima Haque and Tanvir Isalm have also both been accepted to study Optometry at Aston University.

. In addition, the following students achieved the equivalent of three “A” grades: Amy Walters, Maleeha Hussain, Malika Hussain and Luthfa Begum.
